In our workshops you will learn

Preparation of 3 cocktails. (depending on the type of cocktail).
Individual use and handling of utensils.
Measurements and glassware.
History of the cocktails that are exhibited or made in the workshop.

Includes tasting of the cocktails prepared.

Registration on the website or directly at the venue.

Regular workshops are open to the public, and you can select your seats, up to a maximum of 12 people. The minimum to join a workshop that is not yet booked is 2 people. If you come unaccompanied, sign up for one that already has some seats booked.

Cocktails vary depending on the day – choose the one you fancy, and go for it!

For groups of more than 12 people or for external workshops outside Slow, we will give you a tailor-made quotation.

The all-time favorites. If you’ve already heard of a Manhattan, Dry Martini, Daiquiri, Hanky Panky, Sidecar or Negroni, that’s because they’re universally known and every good bartender must know how to prepare them.

Tiki

What does Tiki mean?

The word Tiki comes from Polynesia. Tiki cocktails are rum-based and contain fresh fruit and syrups. Mai Tai is considered the king of Tiki cocktails.

APERITIFS

vermouths, amaros, anise liqueurs

Aperitifs are digestive liqueurs with a slightly bitter taste which are made with macerated herbs. They are typically ordered before a meal to whet your appetite (hence the name), or after a meal. Aperitifs include amaros, vermouths, bitters, herbal liqueurs… And remember, drinks that are prepared with aperitifs are always tasty, you’ll see.

Do you seriously think that the only ingredients in a Gin & Tonic are gin and tonic water? Well, there’s so much more you don’t know yet. You can add so much flavour by adding spices, extracts, fruit and herbs, and there is also a wide range of different tonic waters to be taken into consideration. Learn how to recognize and combine the world’s best gins.
